Part 1 Privacy Policy
The short version
- We collect what we need to book, confirm, and complete your TV mount: your name, phone number, email, service address, and details about the job.
- Our website uses Google and PostHog analytics tools and Google Ads tracking so we know whether our ads are working.
- We share your information only with the services that help us run the business (booking, email, analytics, phones). We never sell it.
- We call and text you about your appointment, and we may text you a review link after the install. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- Email info@techmountingpros.com to see, correct, or delete your information.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1 Who we are
Tech Mounting Pros ("we," "us," or "our") is the trade name of Cook's Food and Beverage Enterprise, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We are a mobile TV mounting and home audio and video installation service based in Houston, Texas. We do not have a storefront. We come to you.
You can reach us at (713) 930-8510 or info@techmountingpros.com.
2 What this policy covers
This policy explains what we collect when you use techmountingpros.com (the "Site"), call or text our business line, book an appointment through our online scheduler, or receive our services, and what we do with it.
It does not cover the practices of other companies whose services we use or link to. Those companies have their own privacy policies, and Section 6 names the ones we rely on.
3 What we collect
Information you give us
When you book, call, text, email, or talk with our technician, you may give us:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- The address where the work will be done
- Details about the job: TV size and model, wall type, where you want the TV, add-ons you are interested in, and your preferred appointment times
- Photos or notes you choose to send us about the space
- Anything else you include in a call, text, email, or booking note
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, standard web technologies collect:
- Device and browser type, screen size, and operating system
- Your IP address and the approximate location it implies
- The pages you view, the links and buttons you tap, how long you stay, and the page or ad that brought you here
- Cookies and similar identifiers set by the tools described in Section 5
Calls and texts
When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and the content of the conversation. Our phone system keeps a log of calls, voicemails, and text messages. We may use an automated phone assistant to answer or route calls; Section 7 explains how that works.
Booking information
Our online scheduler is provided by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects the details you enter (name, email, phone number, and any notes) and passes them to us. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to how Calendly handles that information.
4 How we use it
We use your information to:
- Schedule, confirm, and carry out your appointment, including calling or texting you to confirm the time window and setup details
- Give you quotes, answer your questions, and follow up on estimates
- Send appointment reminders, arrival updates, and a follow-up after the job, which may include a request for a Google review
- Honor our satisfaction guarantee and workmanship warranty, and resolve any problems
- Keep business, tax, and accounting records, and meet our legal obligations
- Measure whether our website and advertising are working, and improve them
- Protect our business, technicians, and customers, and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anyone else's marketing.
5 Cookies, analytics, and ads
The Site uses the tools below. Each may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
- Google Tag ManagerLoads and manages the measurement tags listed here.
- Google AnalyticsTells us how visitors use the Site: pages viewed, time on page, device type, and rough location.
- Google AdsMeasures whether visitors who clicked one of our ads went on to book or call, and may show our ads to previous visitors on other sites (remarketing). If you arrived from a Google ad, the phone number shown on the Site may be a Google forwarding number. Google connects the call and reports details about it to us, such as when it happened, how long it lasted, and the area code it came from.
- PostHogWebsite analytics that records page views and on-page interactions, such as which buttons are tapped, so we can improve the Site.
- Google FontsThe Site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your browser's request, including its IP address.
- VercelHosts the Site and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, but the embedded booking calendar may not. To opt out of Google Ads personalization, visit Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. To opt out of Google Analytics, install Google's browser opt-out add-on.
The notice bar you see on your first visit is an acknowledgement, not a consent switch. Dismissing it is remembered in your browser so you do not see it again. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
6 Who we share it with
We share personal information only with companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Calendly, for online appointment scheduling
- Google, for Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads, and Fonts as described above, and for Google Business Profile, where reviews are posted
- PostHog, for website analytics
- Vercel, for website hosting
- Microsoft 365, for business email and calendar
- Our telephone and messaging providers, which route calls and texts, store call logs and voicemails, and, when in use, run our automated phone assistant (Section 7)
- The payment provider you choose, if you pay electronically rather than in cash or by check
These companies handle your information under their own privacy and security terms and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it (for example, in response to a subpoena or court order), to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, technicians, or business, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
7 Calls, texts, and our phone assistant
Calls and texts from us
By giving us your phone number, whether on the Site, in the booking calendar, or by calling or texting us, you agree that we may call and text you about your appointment: to confirm it, remind you, let you know when we are on the way, follow up afterward, and ask for a review. These messages may come from a person or from an automated system. Message frequency depends on your booking. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling at any time by telling us.
Automated assistant and call recording
We may use an automated phone assistant to answer or route calls to our business line when a person is not available. When a call is handled this way, it may be recorded or transcribed so that we can schedule your job accurately and follow up. If you would rather speak with a person, say so at any time and we will connect you or call you back. Texas allows call recording with the consent of one party to the call, but we tell you regardless.
Anything the assistant tells you about pricing or availability is preliminary until a technician confirms it. See Part 2, Section 3.
8 How long we keep it
We keep booking records, call and text logs, and related communications for as long as we need them to do the work, honor our guarantee and warranty, keep the tax and accounting records the law requires, and resolve any disputes. In practice that means a few years after your last service with us, and longer only when a law or an open claim requires it. Website analytics data is kept according to each tool's retention setting.
9 Security
We use reputable, well-maintained third-party systems for hosting, scheduling, email, and phones, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to do your job. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10 Your rights and choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop calling or texting you. Email info@techmountingpros.com or call (713) 930-8510 and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify that the request is really from you, and we may keep records we are legally required to keep.
Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texans the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of their personal data. Small businesses are exempt from most of that law, and we likely qualify, but we honor these requests anyway. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws can make the same requests.
11 Children
Our services are for adults, and the Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12 Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of the page. Continuing to use the Site or our services after a change means you accept it.
13 How to reach us
Questions about this policy, or a request about your information: email info@techmountingpros.com or call (713) 930-8510. Contact details are also at the bottom of this page.
Part 2 Terms of Service
The short version
- The $119 flat rate covers mounting one TV, up to 85 inches, on a standard wall. Hardware and add-ons are quoted on-site before any extra work starts, and you approve them first.
- Booking is free. No card, no deposit. You pay when the job is done and you are happy with it.
- A technician calls to confirm before the appointment. The slot is not final until we have talked.
- If the install is not right, tell us and we fix it free. Our workmanship warranty lasts 7 days from the installation date.
- These terms are governed by Texas law.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1 Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cook's Food and Beverage Enterprise, LLC, doing business as Tech Mounting Pros ("Tech Mounting Pros," "we," or "us"). They cover your use of techmountingpros.com (the "Site") and any TV mounting, audio and video installation, or related service we provide (the "Services").
By using the Site, booking an appointment, or having us do work for you, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy in Part 1. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book with us. You must be at least 18 years old to book.
2 What we do and where
We mount TVs and install related home audio and video equipment for homes and businesses across Greater Houston, roughly a 50-mile radius of the city. Services include standard TV mounting, hardware supply, cable management, TV relocation, soundbar and streaming device setup, LED accent lighting, above-fireplace mounting, and multi-TV commercial installs. If you are outside our usual area, call us. We can often still help.
3 Booking and confirmation
You can book through the online calendar on the Site (provided by Calendly) or by calling or texting (713) 930-8510. Booking is free: no card and no deposit.
An online booking is a reservation request. A technician will call or text you, usually within a few hours, to confirm the time window and go over your setup: TV size, wall type, and any add-ons you are considering. Your appointment is confirmed once we have reached you and agreed on the details. If we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, we may release the slot.
Same-day service is often available but never guaranteed. Call for the best chance at it.
If our automated phone assistant (Privacy Policy, Section 7) gives you a time, a price range, or any other detail, it is preliminary until a technician confirms it or it appears on your confirmed booking.
4 Pricing
The $119 flat rate
Our standard mount is $119. It covers the labor to mount one TV, up to 85 inches, on a standard wall surface (drywall, brick, concrete, or tile): locating the studs or anchor points, securing the bracket, hanging and leveling the TV, and cleaning up. That is the whole price for a standard mount. There is no trip fee and no service fee.
What it does not include
- Mounting hardware (bracket, anchors, bolts) if you do not already have a compatible bracket. We can supply it, and we quote it before we install it.
- Add-ons: cable management or in-wall cable runs, TV relocation, soundbar or streaming device setup, LED lighting, above-fireplace brackets, and commercial or multi-TV jobs.
- Extra work the wall or placement requires, such as unusual wall construction, no usable stud or anchor point where you want the TV, or unusually high or awkward placements.
Quotes and approval
Anything beyond the standard mount is quoted on-site, free, before we start it. We do not start extra work, and we do not charge for it, until you say yes. If something unexpected comes up mid-job, we stop and talk with you before continuing.
Prices on the Site are for the standard residential mount and can change. The price we confirm with you for your appointment is the one that applies.
5 Payment
Payment is due when the job is finished, after the technician has walked you through the work and you have confirmed you are satisfied. We will tell you which payment methods we accept when we confirm your appointment. We do not take deposits.
6 Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows
Plans change. There is no fee to cancel or reschedule. Just call, text, or email us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. If we arrive for a confirmed appointment and cannot get in, or nobody is there, we will try to reach you and rebook. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may mean we cannot offer you same-day or priority scheduling in the future.
If we have to cancel or move an appointment (weather, illness, or an emergency on an earlier job), we will tell you as soon as we know and offer the next available time.
7 Satisfaction guarantee and workmanship warranty
Satisfaction guarantee
If the TV is not level, the cables are not tidy, or something about the installation is not right, tell the technician before they leave or contact us within the warranty period below, and we will come back and make it right at no charge.
We warrant our workmanship for 7 days from the date of installation.
What it covers
Problems caused by how we did the installation, such as a bracket that loosens or shifts, a TV that is not level, or cables we routed coming loose. Contact us within the 7 days and we will fix it free.
What it does not cover
- Damage after we leave, whether from you, someone else, pets, moves, or later work on the wall
- Defects in your TV, or in hardware you supplied
- Problems inside the wall or structure that were not reasonably visible during the installation
- Events outside our control, such as water damage, fire, storms, or power surges
- Anything you asked us to do against our recommendation, if we explained the risk at the time
This warranty is the only warranty we give. Beyond it, we disclaim implied warranties to the extent Texas law allows. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Texas law that cannot be waived.
8 Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your TV, your wall, and what you want, both when you book and when we confirm.
- Have an adult (18 or older) present for the whole appointment who can make decisions about the work.
- Make sure we can reach the wall safely: move furniture and breakables, and keep pets and children clear of the work area.
- Tell us before we start about anything we cannot see: hidden wiring or plumbing, previous repairs, unusual wall materials, or structural concerns.
- If you rent or live under an HOA, make sure you are allowed to mount a TV on the wall. That is your responsibility, not ours.
- Supply a TV and, if you are providing it, a bracket that are in good working order and rated for each other.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions in your walls, wiring, plumbing, or structure that a careful technician could not reasonably have discovered, or for problems caused by inaccurate information.
9 Photos of the work
We may photograph the finished installation for our records and for warranty purposes. We will not use a photo of your home in our marketing without your permission. If you would rather we not take photos at all, tell the technician.
10 Reviews
We may ask you for a Google review after your install. Reviews are always voluntary and never paid for, and we will never ask you to change one.
11 Licensing and insurance
Tech Mounting Pros is licensed and insured to do this work in Houston, Texas. Proof of insurance is available on-site if you ask.
12 Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent Texas law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of the Services, the Site, or these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service the claim is about. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use, even if we were told they were possible.
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, and it does not waive any right you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act that cannot be waived.
13 Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold Tech Mounting Pros, its owner, and its technicians harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or inaccurate information you gave us about the installation site.
14 The website and its content
Everything on the Site (text, images, photos of past installations, and logos) belongs to Tech Mounting Pros or is used with permission. You may view it for personal use. Please do not copy or republish it without asking.
The Site links to and relies on third-party services, including Calendly, Google, and the others named in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their outages or errors. If the booking calendar is down, call us and we will book you by hand.
15 Texas law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute about the Site or the Services, are governed by Texas law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to those courts. Before filing anything, contact us. Nearly every problem can be sorted out with a phone call.
16 Other terms
- Changes. We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date and applies to bookings made after that date.
- Whole agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any written quote or invoice for your specific job are the whole agreement between us.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a term once, we can still enforce it later.
17 Contact
Questions about these Terms: email info@techmountingpros.com or call (713) 930-8510.
